Warriors of the Red Planet Blog

Al over at Beyond the Black Gate has started up a second blog to discuss and promote his upcoming sword-and-planet RPG, Warriors of the Red Planet, which is, in his words, "Old School Pulp Sci-Fantasy in the vein of Burroughs, Kline, Moorcock, and Brackett. Old School Rules in the vein of Swords & Wizardry and Labyrinth Lord."

I'm really looking forward to this one. Check it out.

  1. I was working on my own "sword and planet" setting book for Labyrinth Lord/Swords & Wizardry, but it look's like Al may have this locked up. I really looking forward to see what he comes up with.

  2. As long as it is Edgar Burroughs and not William Burroughs.

  3. Who wouldn't play a William S Burroughs inspired RPG? One could randomly cut and paste various pieces of various RPG's together and play the results. Ok, that might be a bad idea...

  4. The "Over the Edge" Rpg (http://www.atlas-games.com/overtheedge/) is a Williams S. Burroughs-inspired rpg. Simplistic game system; an out-there setting of surreal conspiracy.
